Jazsmine Towner, Ph.D., NCSP (she/her), is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and is currently pursuing licensure as a Clinical Psychologist. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families. Her extensive training across clinical and educational settings has equipped her to provide comprehensive psychological services. Dr. Towner provides individual, group, and family therapy, in addition to caregiver coaching to support clients and their families. She also conducts comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations to identify strengths, clarify diagnoses, and guide individualized treatment and educational planning.

Dr. Towner is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She emphasizes unconditional positive regard for clients and utilizing their strengths in treatment. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, learning difficulties, and social-emotional challenges, ADHD, and Autism. She has extensive experience providing support across school and clinical settings. She values supporting individuals in developing emotional regulation, self-advocacy, and the skills needed to thrive across home, school, and community settings.

Dr. Towner is dedicated to helping clients navigate emotional, behavioral, social, and systemic challenges through compassionate, individualized care. She takes a strengths-based approach, collaborating with clients and families to develop personalized goals and implement evidence-based interventions that promote meaningful growth and lasting well-being. Drawing on her extensive background in educational settings, Dr. Towner has expertise in understanding how emotional and behavioral challenges impact students’ educational experiences and outcomes. She is highly knowledgeable about the IEP/Section 504 processes and partners with caregivers to provide guidance, advocacy, and support in accessing appropriate school-based services and accommodations.

Dr. Towner earned her doctoral degree in School Psychology from Illinois State University. She completed both her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at New Connections Academy, a therapeutic day school serving students ages 8–22 with Autism and co-occurring mental health and behavioral concerns, including anxiety, depression, and emotional and behavioral challenges. During her training, she developed expertise in crisis intervention, risk assessments, social skills development, behavior management, distress tolerance, psychological assessment, and consultation. In addition, Dr. Towner received several years of specialized training at a nonprofit autism clinic, further strengthening her experience in providing evidence-based assessment and intervention for autistic individuals and their families.
